Pete brings 10+ years of MSP leadership to his role as CEO of LayerCake, where he's focused on scaling operations, building strong teams, and delivering exceptional client experiences. He also facilitates peer groups through IT Nation, connecting MSP executives across the industry. Pete believes great companies are built on trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to delivering value and works to put that into practice every day. When he steps away from the desk, you'll find him in the workshop working on his latest woodworking or construction project, or on the floor building LEGOs with his daughter.

With 25+ years of rolling up his sleeves in server rooms, Pete now leads at the executive level. Since joining the Blue Alliance family in 2019, he's been a steady force behind the scenes, helping navigate rapid growth and tackle complex challenges head-on. When he's not busy keeping everything running smoothly, you'll find Pete at the baseball diamond, proudly cheering on his kids and soaking up every moment.

Jim leads the tech strategy team that helps clients use technology to stay safe, run smarter, and grow faster. He's spent his career in the MSP space and cares most about helping his team and his clients win. Jim is a BJJ practitioner who runs daily, brews strong opinions about good beer, and has way too many Raspberry Pis stashed around the house.

Kathy is a seasoned finance leader with experience across consulting, operations, and corporate finance. She has helped growing organizations build scalable financial processes and navigate complex business challenges in leadership roles within technology and other services. Richard draws on a career defined by MSP leadership, scaling operations to drive team performance and operational maturity. He has honed a leadership philosophy rooted in operational rigor and hands-on mentoring, values he carries forward through industry peer groups and a commitment to developing the next generation of leaders. Richard is a retired motorcycle racer, a World Series of Poker final table finisher, and an amateur chef preparing to launch his first pop-up restaurant.
